GatorPond Fundraising Questions
Q. What is GatorPond?

A. GatorPond is a family oriented business that allows legal peer-to-peer media trading network for DVDs, VHS Tapes, Music CDs and Video Games. GatorPond is not and a rental or auctioning web site. GatorPond members send the actual media to other members. By listing your media titles with GatorPond you “trade what you have for what you want.” It’s that simple! We even provide postage paid envelopes to members so they can mail their media titles in a timely manner.

Q. Getting Started?
A. To better understand our fundraising program go to the Getting Started link. On this page your organization can clearly see a demonstrating power point presentation with sales product, how much you can earn, and how simple it is to sell.

Q. How does the GatorPond Fundraiser Program work?
A. The Program is designed to help with all your fundraising needs. Our company is designed to allow customers who buy and rent media on a regular basis to save money. Our developers in US/London designed a web based system that can allow users to trade unlimited media — DVDs, VHS Tapes, CDs, and Video Games with other users all over the United States. Everybody in their home and business has an inventory of media. The home and office is a distribution center, “trade what you have for what you want” that is our philosophy. The monthly membership is a low monthly cost of $19.95. Out of that $19.95, $5.00 goes to your fundraising need. For instance, you have 100 students, they each sell (5) GatorPond Memberships a piece x $5.00 that’s 500 hundred memberships equaling $2,500 per month or $30,000 per year. This is with no start up cost, no collections (like with candy, candles, lollipops) no products to stock or deliver, no returns or charge backs. We even give you a trackable web site to track your organization’s sales.

Q. Where is all the marketing material located and how do we sell the memberships?
A. When you sign up all the necessary material is made available to your organization for a successful campaign. You will find the materials in the “back office” of the web site once you log in. Materials include the GatorPond Quick Start Guide, Fundraiser Presentation, and Fundraising Sales Kits. The GatorPond Agenda is a step by step Agenda to help your organization better understand the fundraiser to generate faster sales. Organizer Tips is designed to keep track of your fundraiser, including marketing tips. Membership Sign Up Sheet includes the necessary information to help keep track of members committing to sign up. (Your personal GatorPond Support affiliate will help you). The (2up) Sales Flyer is for the participants to hand out to potential sponsors which can be customized to your organization. List of Potential Sponsors is for the participants to write down who they can sell to. Marketing Script allows the participants to know what to say to potential sponsors. Payout Grid shows how much you can make with up to 500 participants.

Q. How do I track my organization sales?
A. An automated system is in place. Your organization will receive a personalized URL that is used to send your organizations customers to. You are also given a personal username and password that allows you to log in anytime to track your sales, access the Fundraising Sales Kits, and update your organizations account information if needed.

Q. Who pays for shipping?
A. New members will be mailed a welcome kit, including six (6) postage paid envelopes, after that you do.

Q. How are the Gator Credits calculated?
A. GatorPond uses a proprietary Ultra-Simple point value system. For each item on your trade list you are issued three (3) Gator Credits per item. The items are divided into four formats; DVD, VHS, Video Games, and CDs. You can trade within each of these formats. For example DVD for DVD, VHS for VHS and so forth. The credits will then be used for you to “buy” a trade item you want.

A. We have partnered with PayPal for billing service. The member will log in to their PayPal account at paypal.com to update any billing information.

Q. How can a GatorPond Member be notified when a particular item becomes available for trade?
A. They need to keep an eye on the inventory for the particular product they are looking for. The available DVDs, CDs, and Video Games change everyday and items go fast, so a close eye must be kept on the inventory to “grab it” when it comes into the pond for trade! There is NO reserving items at this point.

Q. How is a GatorPond Member billed for trading service?
A. We have partnered with PayPal for all billing service. Once they have created a PayPal account through our web site they will be automatically charged every month on the day they joined.

Q. How long is a GatorPond subscription?
A. A minimum of six months.

Q. How does a GatorPond Member cancel a subscription?
A. Because of the nature of the trading system cancelation is not a viable option. If a member does cancel their membership the balance of their six-month commitment will still be charged to their account. This is designed to stop any possible abuse of the trading system.
